In deodorant news, after being a life-long user of Secret Unscented (well, I switched to Secret "Ambition" for a little while), I tried Soft'N Dri "Soothers" in Unscented. Although it was unscented it had this really neat fake smell, like plastic or something. I know that doesn't sound too good, but for some reason I really liked it. Now I'm trying Arm & Hammer "Ultramaxx Time Released Baking Soda Protection" in Powder Fresh. It's chalky and the powder-y smell is way to strong. The back says "Patented time-release formula delivers bursts of deodorant power hour after hour" (no punctuation). I don't like the thought of "deodorant power" repeatedly "bursting" in my armpits. But now I've found what I think is the first herbal deodorant AND anti-perspirant, made by Tom's of Maine. It's an unscented roll-on that uses "buffered alum" instead of toxic aluminum zirconium. So stay tuned to see if "cranesbill extract" and "hectorite clay" keep me from stinking and sweating!
