Is JT Leroy a fraud? New York Magazine investigates. I read Sarah and found it grossly overrated. Same for his essays in Index. The wig and sunglasses, enormous celebrity insta-fan base...something was always a little weird about this fellow. I wouldn't be suprised if it's true.
