Went to the Atlantic Antic today. Here are some pics:

The New York Transit Museum had a bunch of old buses outside that you could go in and check out - they were so cool!

Miss New York.

Go-Go dancer.

Street Fair!

Forest City Ratner propaganda. They sounded damn good though!

Outside the "Amer-abic" pavillion.

We revolved our whole day around trying to catch "Omar the Male Bellydancer" at the "Eddie Kochak and the Amer-abic Ensemble" pavillion, but no luck, so we had to settle for a regular old lady bellydancer, which was still pretty cool. Six Point Craft Ales brews an "Atlantic Antic Amber Ale" especially for the event, which was really good. I also imbibed on some white sangria, which was amazing - nice and sweet and peachy. I managed to avoid any impulse buys, but was eyeing longingly the Campfire table. I'm definitely going to pick up one of their tees at some point.

So, a total wash in terms of the thesis this weekend. This late summer/early autumn weather is just too good to pass up. This weekend has been the best weather of the entire summer and I just had to get out there. But I've really got to buckle down these next two weekends and get a good rough draft done. The end is near, so near. And I'm so excited!

Is that Jewel staring back at us in your last picture? Also, the Atlantic Antic Amber Ale (4A beer) sound real good.
