COUNTDOWN TO FREEDOM: DAY ZERO

It's over!I did it!

I still have one more class next week, but my paper is in, I've done my presentation, so it's over!

This weekend will be the first weekend in three and half years that I have not had homework, or the specter of homework, looming over me like a dark shadow, clouding my every move. I don't think it's really hit me yet. On the subway home tonight with some of my classmates, we were talking about what we were going to do with all our free time, and I said I might take a French class, another girl said she wanted to take dance lessons. I said we sounded like a bunch of retirees and we all laughed. I have been thinking of how I'll spend my free time, however:

-Take a French class.

-Get my paralegal certificate.

-Learn to ride the bus around Brooklyn.

-Read. Alot.

-Cook and bake. Alot.

-Visit my family and friends more.

-See G as much as possible.

-Write more letters.

-Volunteer for Citymeals on Wheels.

-Volunteer for the Verizon Literacy Network.

-Watch thousands of movies.

-Go to lots of museums.

-Loaf around.

And that repulsive, homophobic boob Santorum is out of PA, Hillary is in again in NY, Spitzer is the new NY Governor, and NH has elected a Dem to Congress. I couldn't ask for a better night!
