Lack of posting due to the fact I have bought a "real" journal, as in a little notebook that you write in with a pen. Remember those? I've been browsing through my box of old journals that date back to junior high and continue right through to my first couple of years in NY. Then I entered the age of the blog and stopped keeping one. But looking through them I was inspired to start up again. It's been really amazing actually writing again - I realize how much typing has really affected my ability to write with paper and pen. My handwriting is not as good, and my thoughts are zooming much faster than my hand. Writing with pen and paper is forcing me to slow down and not rely on a backspace button when I make a mistake. It's forcing me to be more thoughtful, and it's also getting me away from the computer, which is good. I spend all day in front of a glaring computer screen at work, and then to come home and do it for another few hours...ug. I'm definitely going to still write here, but maybe not as much. Who knows. Everytime I say that I end up posting more than ever.
