Today is my birthday!

For those of you who didn't know or forgot (ahem) you can make a mental note now for next year and I'll let you off the hook this time!

G is coming down tomorrow, and then we leave for Montreal on Sunday, so we're saving the celebrations until then. Today I just went to work, had a fun birthday lunch with coworkers at Arthur's Tavern and then a delicious birthday M&M cookie from Carlo's.

Arthur's menu really cracks me up. I didn't know people drank margaritas and pina coladas with steak! I got a turkey sandwich, which was hardly a sandwich: two pieces of rye bread with a big pile of turkey in the middle, open-faced. No condiments. No fixins. I guess when you go to a steak house they are not going to spend too much time catering to non-steak-and-burger-eaters.

I am so ready for vacation I could cry. My eyes are burning out of my head from too much computer usage. I cannot wait to be away from computers! I'm so looking forward to relaxing and spending a whole week with G. In fact, I'm going to go to bed right now so it can hurry up and be tomorrow!
