One thing I am definitely going to miss about moving is seeing the Empire State Building from my apartment. I love how it slowly changes colors in the morning as the sun rises, and slowly changes colors again as the sun sets. It's surprisingly beautiful. I love looking out the window each night to see what color it's being lit up (last night it was all yellow to celebrate the US Open Finals). And watching it get struck by lightning bolts during a storm is the coolest thing ever! It's a great beacon for weather too, if it's sacked in by clouds or fog. Sometimes if there is a fast moving storm I can actually watch it become slowly obscured by clouds, which is neat. I'll miss you Empire State!
