G and I visited my cousin and his wife and their new baby yesterday in Roslindale, MA. I suppose I am biased, but they have the most beautiful infant I have ever seen! Seriously beautiful! Apparently her feet are large for an infant (none of the infant socks fit her!) and she has long fingers. An ultrasound prompted a doctor to ask who in the family was tall because the baby was going to be tall. Well, my cousin's brother is something like 6'4", and their dad is really tall too. I'm convinced she is going to be a model. And with a name like Francesca...I mean, does that scream haute couture or what?

I also need to give a shout-out to my cousin's amazing homemade pizza. My eyes nearly popped out of my head when I saw this thing in the oven: thin, crispy crust, bubbly cheese, homemade sauce. He used a pizza stone and, in his words, "pizza ball bearings," ie cornmeal, to keep the pizza from sticking to the stone. He even spun the dough around in the air! Amazing stuff. Next time I am taking pictures!
