I've had bronchitis for almost two weeks now, coughing up grey-green goo so much my back hurts and blowing my nose about fifty times a day. I finally went to the doctor yesterday and got a bevy of meds: Hydromet, a super-strong cough syrup that has a picture of a stick of dynamite on the warning label; Q-Bid-La, which the doctor described as "turbo Robitussen in a pill"; and Zithromax, an antibiotic. The Hydromet tasted like Band-Aids and sent me into a nice, deep sleep without making me hallucinate, like Nyquil.
