Deodorant Update:
The roller mechanism on the Tom's of Maine was a little sticky, so I had to roll it on my armpits for a long time before I could feel anything. I've never used a roll-on; it's cold and wet and I'm afraid to put my arms down lest I get it all over my shirt. But, after walking around the city for a few hours I didn't feel stinky or sweaty. Granted, it was about 30 degrees today, so I don't think I would have been sweating anyway. The real test will be to see how it holds up on a day of comuter/work hell. The smell is nice too; mild and unoffensive.

Thanks for sharing your deodorant story, Wendy. What deodorant do other people use? I think the Adidas deodorants have a really nice design; they're slim and I like the color pallettes. "Moves for Her"? Ha! I think they should just call it "Move It!" Does that mean the other deodorants are unisex, or for men? I smelled the red one at CVS and it was totally overpowering.

I think I should start wearing a bicycle bell on my wrist when walking down the sidewalk. Ch-ching! Ch-ching! This would be espcially helpful on days when it rains and you simply can't get past all the golf umbrellas.
