Saw Spun today. It was ok. It was really unoriginal and in fact downright boring in how it conveyed the effect of meth on the characters (cartoon sequences, jumpy shots, etc.). But all the actors were really good, especially Mickey Rourke as a skeezy, creepy meth lab cook. Debbie Harry was great as a dyked-out phone sex operator too. From the credits it looked like most of the music was by Zwan, and I actually really liked it. Billy Corgan had a cameo as a doctor, and so did Rob Halford (Judas Priest) as a porn shop clerk.

Also saw "Willard," which is exactly what you'd expect from a movie starring Crispin Glover and an "army" of rats: demented and funny and just plain bizarre. He has a couple good scenes where he just totally freaks out and starts screaming at people. Wendy, Joel and I were a little annoyed at the fact that the people behind us decided to bring a small child with them who couldn't keep quiet and even at one point said something like "Mommy I don't like this!"

I'm in Spring Cleaning mode so I dug out my Clash dub mix tape and spent yesterday afternoon mopping the floor. I like cleaning to reggae/ska/punk hybrid music like English Beat and Operation Ivy. My new favorite cleaning product is "Orange Plus Cleaning Towels" by Earth Friendly Products. They smell orange-y and get really sudsy. They're good for cleaning up hairball residue.
