From watching CNN last night and this morning, looks like a new war-time word has entered the current lexicon: "embedded," as in "CNN has journalists embedded in the Army," or Baghdad, or anywhere they are reporting the war from. I think they only use it to refer to people who are reporting the war from the midst of the action, but I'm not sure.
