If you're standing on the corner of 6th Ave. and 18th St. breathing in the fumes of the Mr. Softee truck with your bag of $8 tank tops from Old Navy, it can only mean one thing: summer in NYC!

Tonight we ate at Life Cafe, then walked over to the dog run at Tompkins Square park and watched this one dog literally attack the water spout for the dogs to drink from. Water was spraying from the spout and this dog just kept clapping it's jaws over the spray, jumping in circles and just going crazy. It was hilarious. I can easily spend an hour watching the dogs run around, humping each other and barking and kicking up woodchips; it cracks me up. There are a lot of bizarre and funny dogs out there.

I saw three men passed out in three separate doorways.

Then it was off to Teany, the restaurant opened by Moby. I had a raspbellini (champagne and raspberry) and listend intently to the new Radiohead that was playing. It was so good (the drink and the album).

I'm debating on whether or not to go The Roxy on Monday night, to see Howard Dean. I'm not sure what he's going to be doing at this gay hot-spot (giving a speech? signing autographs? dancing?) but I think it has to the potential to be highly amusing.
