Our friend Andy grilled corn and veggie burgers for us last night in his garden. He has a ground-floor apartment that opens into a large backyard/garden that is all his, which is absolute luxury for Manhattan. It was wonderful to sit outside in the cool breeze, surrounded by greenery and flickering candles (and lightinging bugs!), smelling the food cooking over the coals. Thanks Andy! And in todays Times they have an editorial about barbequing in the city.
