Now that G has cable, I am glued to VH1 Classics. "No matter how bad the videos get," remarked Steve on Saturday night, as we all sat transfixed by Enuff Z'Nuff, "I could watch this all night." Here Here.

One night the video for "Tomorrow" by Morrissey appeared. I love being reminded how much I fucking love this man! The song and video were both gorgeous, and sent me swirling down memory lane: my giant "Our Frank" poster covering an entire wall of my bedroom in high school; watching Hulmerist over and over, obsessively; and finding a Meat is Murder tour program guide at Rockit Records in Nashua was like finding the Dead Sea Scrolls. There is no question that I now have to buy Hulmerist, Your Arsenal, and Bona Drag again.

I don't know if this laundry drop-off thing is going to work. My clothes stink like perfumey chemicals. Does anyone else do laundry drop-off? If you bring your own detergent will they use it?

I think it's time for a new haircut. I'm getting sick of constantly pulling the front back in a little barrette. I'm thinking perhaps something like this. You can't tell from this picture, but it's a little long in the back, but not in a mullet-y way. I'm sure I'll just end up pinning the bangs back anyway - I really can't stand the feeling of hair on my forehead or neck. So, maybe I shouldn't go for this afterall! Who knows...

Kate Pierson of the B-52's has opened her own motel in the Catskills, Kate's Lazy Meadow. I love that she stole all the toiletries while on tour! I found out about this from my new favorite magazine, Budget Living (thanks Elyse!).
