Strike is on! The Hoboken PATH was mobbed this morning, particularly the WTC platform. And three packed 33rd St. trains in a row blew through Pavonia Newport this morning as well, which is unusual. Interesting to see how many people probably drive to work on a normal day. There were a couple of stray New Yorkers wandering around Pavonia Newport, wondering how to get to WTC. Work is deserted too, so I'll get a lot done today.

Of course a strike sucks, but the MTA are a bunch of "chuckleheads" and corrupt Republican scumbags who cooked their books in order to justify a fare increase, so they get what they deserve. Unfortunately, 7 million commuters also have to suffer. But my sympathies are with the TWU.
