Lack of posting due to one of the most hellatious tasks known to man: apartment hunting. I need to find a new place by July 1, and it's not going well. I've looked at one shit hole after another in Jersey City, and may be seeing a place in Hoboken on Tuesday. Also a place to go see in Williamsburg. I think I would weep with joy to be back in Brooklyn, but the commute, the taxes, the transit costs...big downsides. But I hate JC. Hate it hate it hate it. I would rather battle hipsters on the L each morning than to spend another year in JC. I have never really wanted to move to Williamsburg, but a friend of mine just moved to London for a new job and has left her room vacant (well, it will be vacant as soon as her boyfriend moves over to meet her, which I think will be at the end of the month). Not to mention I just started my two summer classes. So, just a wee bit stressed lately.
