After a glass of champagne at French Roast, we headed homeward. We watched in stifled hysterics on the subway as some sleazy man tried hitting on this poor hipster boy in skinny jeans, hoodie, and floppy winter hat. The kid saw us watching the whole thing and supressed a laugh, and as soon as the sleazmo got off the train the three of us burst out laughing and rehashed the whole thing. A truly awesome subway moment between strangers.
Now it's time to wrap the last few presents, pack up for NH and listen to the rain fall outside. I also have to cobble together some "formal or festive attire" for a New Years party G has been invited to in Providence. I always seem to have some nice shoes, or a nice skirt, or a nice top, but nothing that makes one complete nice outfit, so I'm kind of dreading this task.

Loved all your posts, especially this one with the pictures and the swell subway story. I'm in Concord too at the moment. One of these holidays, we should meet for coffee. You could come here to my parents, now a tourist attraction of sorts as they live two houses up from one of the houses involved in that wicked pot bust.
Big fun!
Merry Christmas!
