They said it would get worse before it got better, and boy were they right. My eyelid is very swollen, and the vision is much blurrier than it was when I got home on Friday. And my eye is also extremely light sensitive so I've been wearing sunglasses constantly like a big diva. I took a walk downtown yesterday morning to the farmer's market, poked around Barnes and Noble, and went to the grocery store, an outing that took all of two hours and which resulted in me needing an hour nap to recover.

It's supposed to get hot here again today too, which sucks, as I am cooped up in my little oven of an apartment. I'm going to go try and buy a standing fan this morning so I can avoid using the A/c during the day. I've been using the A/C very sparingly yet it's jacking up the electricity bill by $30 each month. Crikey.

At least I will be much more prepared for my next eye. I will have all my food made in advance so I don't have to deal with cooking (although I did manage to whip up some salmon burgers and pepper relish yesterday), and I will have plenty of tissues around to prepare for how watery the eye gets, which in turn makes my nose drip, so I've been blowing my nose a lot too. Weird.
