These are about the only sounds I have been making over the last two weeks as I continue to try and fight off this nasty, lingering cold that has left me spitting up blobs of dark green phlegm and chugging down Robitussin like happy-hour cosmos. I'm always really good at taking care of myself when a cold first hits. I dutifully suck down my Cold-eez and drink my medicinal teas and take lots of vitamins. By the second day when none of it seems to be working and I feel even sicker I say the hell with it and go for the pharmaceuticals. It's pretty much just the cough that's left now, but it's so annoying and I've woken up with a coughing fit in the middle of the night the past two nights.

Anyway, my office is closed until January 2 (yay!) so I have plenty of time to convalesce. Maybe I can experiment with making Robitussin Jell-O molds.
