Snowstorm!

My coworkers began fleeing the building around noon, and I followed suite. My usual 30 minute drive took an hour and a half. I did 20mph the whole way on back roads. It was amazing how quickly the snow piled up. It was my first time driving in snow in a long time and it was a bit nerve wracking.

I've been fighting off a cold all week too. I was home from work Monday and Tuesday. My chest is totally congested and it's been hard to sleep. I only got four hours last night because I woke up at 4am with a coughing fit and couldn't get back to sleep. It was a stroke of luck to get to leave early, even if it was because of a snowstorm, as I was pretty zombified.

There's talk of a Nor'Easter hitting this weekend. Fun! Can't wait for all the news stories about how the weather is affecting Christmas shopping!
